Country Garden Beret Pattern (PDF)
The Country Garden Beret pattern is inspired by the quaint cottage gardens of the British countryside. The trellis topped fences and pretty butterflies fluttering by. It is written in two sizes, Small (20-22 inch head) and Large (22-25 inch head). The Beret is knitted in Double knit weight yarn to keep you warm and cosy over the winter.
Gauge in butterfly pattern: 6 stitches per inch / 7 rows per inch on 4.5mm needles
Gauge in stockinette stitch: 5 stitches per inch / 7 rows per inch on 4.5mm needles
Samples are knitted in 'Livin' on a Prayer' and 'Saving all my Love for You' in my DK 75% Merino and 25% Nylon base.
