International Parcel's are sent using standard tracked Royal mail international postage. Your should receive a tracking number when your order is dispatched. For UK parcels you have the option (at checkout) to choose standard or tracked postage. Standard parcels will be dispatched from my local post office so they will often be dispatched the same day. Tracked parcels need to be taken to the sorting office, this means that they may not be posted until a few days after your order has been placed. Please note that the items are still not insured with the track and trace service.
PLEASE NOTE that receipt of orders in some countries may incur customs fees. Please check this before you place your order. If you do refuse receipt of your order due to customs fees, once your items are returned I will refund non-handmade items only. The refund of items excludes handmade items and postage.
How long will my order take to arrive?
PLEASE NOTE that most items are made to order so it may take 1-2 weeks to dispatch. If the shop is closed for any period (see header bar) your item make take longer. Pre-orders are not dispatched immediately, see listing for dispatch date (yarn club dispatch dates can be found here).
UK postage usually takes from 1-4 days.
International postage usually takes 1-6 weeks.
At busy times (like Christmas) or bad weather, this may be longer. Please ensure you order in plenty of time for gifting as I cannot guarantee delivery dates. Please allow 2 weeks (10 working days) for the UK, 6 weeks (30 working days) for Europe and 8 weeks (40 working days) for the rest of the world for delivery. Royal Mail doesn't count packages as lost until 14 days in the UK, 21 in Europe and 25 for the rest of the world, so please bear this in mind when contacting me about missing parcels, I am unable to replace or refund your order until this time has passed.
If you order items in the same cart they will be dispatched together. Even if some of your items are pre orders. Your order will be dispatched when everything is ready to ship. See item listing for dispatch date or email me on email@example.com for further information.
Returns are not accepted on hand made items, some acceptations can be made for particular circumstances. I do accept some items as returns, in which case you will be refunded the cost of the items and not the postage. For more information drop me an email.
Shipping Charges will be automatically calculated when you add items to your basket and enter your address. I aim to keep shipping charges to a minimum, so they just cover postage and packaging.
