Prices shown are paid each month for 5 months. Payment dates are the initial purchase date and once a month on the first of the next 4 months. Postage will be paid on the first payment only. If you sign up to the payment plan you are signing up to automatically pay on these dates. If you do not complete all payments you will not receive your advent.
The Haven Cottage advent calendar is designed to fulfil your yarny wishes. Each little parcel contains yarny goodness for you to open each day during advent.
‘Haven Cottage’ is an idyllic haven full of cosy and crafty goodness! Inspired by beautiful pastel tones of tasty macarons and beautiful tea sets. Baskets of yarn and other crafty goodies fill the cottage. I invite my crafty friends to join me in this beautiful space.
24 x 10g or 20g mini's, individually wrapped, named and numbered so that you can open them on each of the days of advent. All yarn colourways will be new and inspired by the colour palette in the image (circles). There are a huge number of yarn bases to choose from, see the list below. More details of each yarn base can be found here. If you have trouble choosing, I suggest the 75% Merino and 25% Nylon 4ply as it is the most versatile and lovely and soft too. All yarn bases containing Stellina are sparkly. Please note that only Stellina and Merino bases are available in 10g minis.
You also have the option of adding a 100g skein to your order to open on Christmas day. This will be different from the yarn that is part of the weekly advent. It will co-ordinate with the advent colours, but you will not need it to complete the pattern included in this kit.
Yarn advent calendar's will be dispatched by the 19th October to allow time to reach you in plenty of time for the festive period.
Colourways will be mid tones and pale colours in a gradient (see inspiration colours in image) and designed especially for the advent. Colours will not be based on Christmas.
You will also receive little craft theme extras in some of the parcels. They will be wrapped up with the minis. Things like stitch markers and other knitting and crochet accessories. You will also receive a Tote bag (Non-handmade) to store all your minis in. It will be printed with an exclusive design for the advent. One of the packages will include a sewing kit to make a little felt ornament, a video tutorial will also be uploaded to YouTube on the opening day to go along with the kit, so it is ideal for beginners.
A knitting or crochet pattern is included, you will receive a Ravelry code to use on any of my patterns. I will be releasing some new patterns this year, but would can choose one of my older patterns if you wish. Previous years advent knitting patterns include: Dragons Trove Shawl, Anisoptera mittens, the Frost Cowl, Strobilus shawl, Nest box shawl/Popstars blanket, Cupid's arrow advent wrap, Soundwave Cowl or Triangulum blanket.
